Burgundian Pinot Noir clones grow on the south-western slopes of the Laufener Altenberg, on deep limestone marl soil. The wine is matured exclusively in small French wooden barrels, which gives it a fine structure and depth. Aromas of dark fruits such as sour cherries and blackberries meet minerality and spice. The present but ripe tannins underline its elegance and finesse. A still young, balanced Pinot Noir with great potential.
