The Chardonnay from the “Klosterwingerte” is an elegant, finely juicy wine with the typical character of the lime-rich soils. The small limestones on the surface are reminiscent of Burgundy conditions, which means it finds optimal conditions. The south-facing location ensures plenty of sun, which gives the wine fully ripe fruit, while the limestone soil preserves the cool freshness. Youthful fruit and spice meet ethereal notes and a fine minerality. The wine was spontaneously fermented in small wooden barrels and was left on the yeast for a year. A powerful Chardonnay with depth that clearly reflects its origins.
